Under 19 Youth players registered with Lija
Athletic FC, should note that training at the Lija Training Grounds is
being held
regularly under the guidance of Mr. Edgar DeGabriele. Any other
players interested in joining our
Under 19 Squad are requested to call at our training grounds or Lija
Athletic's Club premises for further information. Coach Mr. DeGabriele
is being aided by his very dedicated assistant, Mr. Lorry Borg. |

Edgar
DeGabriele has played for several clubs and is also experienced in youth
football coaching. He was recently appointed as coach of the minors' squad and is also a Senior team player and Assistant of Mr. Marco Gerada - Senior team
Head coach. On the other hand, Lorry Borg was the mentor of the
minors' team in Section "A" last season, an unfortunate and complicated
season during which Lija Athletic
U/18
were relegated after ending last in the standings. The committee would like to
wish the best of luck and success to Mr. DeGabriele & Mr. Borg and their determined squad
for Season 2009-2010! |
